Skewers were delicious and there is a all you can eat appetizer bar that was pretty good! We enjoyed the skewers, nicely spiced. Scallops were delicious, oysters were meh. You order by the QR code and they deliver the food very quickly. Easy parking lot and underground garage in the back.

I told my mom to meet me here for dinner. I drove her. She hates anything not Cantonese. Meet U BBQ is not Cantonese. We were pleasantly surprised. She approved. This is a skewer place, so I did what I normally do and ordered something else. We ordered a grilled fish, foil clams with glass noodles and some skewers. The grilled fish seemed more fried, but, it was good and saucy. It was a hit my picky mom. The foil clam with glass noodles was also a great choice for my picky mother. She even liked the skewers. What she also liked was the all you can take self serve bar. She liked the peanuts, oranges and a couple other items. It was a good place to take my picky mom. She seemed to enjoy her meal here. We probably will come back when tired of eating Cantonese food.

came in on Sunday night, about 20 min wait. Sitting area not that huge there is a QR waitlist inside by counter. Use QR at table to order as you go or want. Pretty fast service. Side bar with some table dishes (seaweed and tofu) and the dessert / oranges skewers are cooked well and well seasoned Just savory and sweet very tasty meats, beef and lamb, beef more fatty for sure enoki wrap in tofu skin- very juicy and sweet Small sea food selection spicy clams and 2 scallops with glass noodles in garlic was good. but must eat while hot. A lot of people order one of the fish dishes $40, maybe will try next time. underground parking in the plaza Would come back again

The skewers here are soooo good. I'm in love. This place is pretty popular. I had to wait 40 minutes for a party of two. Unfortunately the service is a bit lacking. You order from your phone via QR code, so the only time you interact with a server is when they come to bring your food. Side dishes, like seaweed and fried shrimp chips and roasted peanuts, are free for all near the kitchen. At my visit on a Friday night, they did not refill the platters when food ran out. The lamb and beef skewers were so good! I had Dong Bei in Monterey Park not too long ago. The skewers here taste so much better! I tasted the grilled fish, which was good - but the skewers are better. I'd come back next time and only order skewers. The chicken wings had great flavor, but they looked a bit bloody inside. They have an underground parking lot if you can't find any on ground level. Spots are pretty tight. Meet U is on the left side of the plaza on the first floor, but closer to the center.

If you want a spot for Chinese skewers that'll hit the spot without all the bells and whistles, this is the place to go. You order via their QR code and the only time you need to talk to a waiter is when you ask for your check. Food comes out very fast and the waiters were quick to refill our water jug. The skewers are well seasoned so watch out if you can't handle spice. I haven't asked for any adjustments but the options seem to be either spicy or no spice at all. This is a great spot to hang out with large groups because it's spacious and drinks are well priced.

Came here with my partner on a Friday night at 9:30 PM. Vibes The place has a fun, after-party vibe--perfect for drinking, eating, and hanging out. It's also not a bad option if you're dining solo. Service Not super personable, but quick and efficient. Food Skewers: We tried so many--lamb, beef, gizzard, chicken bone, intestine, oyster mushroom, and enoki mushroom wrapped in bean curd. Every single one was delicious! The seasoning was flavorful but not repetitive, and all the meats were tender and well-prepared. I forgot to mention but our favorite skewers were chicken bine and gizzard. It has a delightful crunch. The beef and intestines are super fatty and juicy so 1 skewer each is probably enough! Scallops: These tasted similar to frozen scallops you'd find at an Asian market but with extra garlic on top. Still tasty, but you might want to save your money. Oysters: Huge and served piping hot! I preferred the flavor of the scallops, but these were still good. Grilled Eggplant: Cooked well, but the flavor was a bit bland. Pork and Cabbage Dumpling: Over-boiled and just okay. Overall I would definitely come back and try other items on the menu!

Food - 4/5 - Came here for a late night bite and was pretty satisfied. The skewers were pretty sizable and they have a good variety of different kinds. You order through the QR code at your table. The meat is nicely seasoned and I highly recommend the hot and sour noodles. Price - $$ - The pricing is pretty fair for what you get. Keep in mind, this isn't a place to get super full of you eat a lot. it's a great snack place or to hang out with friends for the price they have. Service - 4/5 - The service is super quick. Since ordering is through the QR code, it's pretty efficient and you can keep adding to your tab until you are ready to check out. Ambiance - 4/5 - The vibe is casual so just come and hang out. Location - 4/5 - located in a plaza, there's usually a good amount of parking underground. During the day and evening, it gets crowded due to the other restaurants but in the late evening there's always parking. ____________________ **Note: Location rating does not affect yelp review, this is just for informative purposes of other patrons only.

I walked by this place about 2 years ago and thought it'd be a nice place to do beer and skewers. It didn't seem overly loud inside and the decor is not off the charts. Food: I ordered skewers (beef, lamb, chicken wing, chicken skin). All the skewers tasted like they were deep fried, not grilled, but they weren't overly oily. They were all pretty good. My favorite was the chicken skin, which was pretty much chicken skin chips. Fish in garlic sauce--This is a huge fish dish meant to be shared. Since 50% of the customers had one on their table, we decided to order one. It was decent, but I wouldn't order it again unless we have more than 6 people. Service: You order on your phone, and food is brought out. The staff is fairly young, and they were attentive enough. Environment: There is ample parking in the back or underground. The decor is simple and clean. Unlike many drinking places, this one didn't blast music, and it didn't feel chaotic here. Price: It's not bad for the type of food, but it can get pricey if you're here for dinner and drinks. If you're just here for drinks, they have complementary beer snacks. Food: 4.5 Service: 5 Environment: 5 Price: 4

My new favorite skewer spot. Ever since finding out about this place, I've come here weekly, sometimes multiple times a week. My friends and I can't stop raving about how good and reasonably priced this skewer bbq place is! When you get seated, you simply scan the QR code and order directly from your phone. They also have Wi-Fi if needed. The food (and drinks) come quick! Servers are nice, food quality is great, tastes delicious (chinese seasoning, normally it is a little spicy but you can order no spice). I recommend the following dishes (some dishes are mispelled in their menu): - BigBig Squid, this one is the full squid (10/10): excellent, must try - Orleans Grilled Chicken Wings (10/10): well seasoned, delicious, must try - Beef Skewers (10/10): classic - Lamb Skewers (10/10): classic - Swir Potato (10/10): fried to perfection, MUST try - Scallops (10/10): garlic, vermicelli noodles, must try Also, they have a hot bar on the counter near the back where you can help yourself to complimentary appetizers and dessert. They've had mapo tofu, tomatos, peanuts, fried wonton strips, fried prawn chips, herb jello, orange slices, and even WATERMELON slices! Parking is available in the front, rear, and underground. It can get busy during rush hour, but every time I've been, we've always been able to get seated. They also close late night, and they serve alcohol. What is there not to like? I'll see you again soon Meet u BBQ..

Hubby & I came back to Meet U BBQ over the weekend and I think they've made improvements since our last visit. Though the Beef Tongue skewers took the longest to come out, at least we ordered enough items and they have the self-serve appetizer bar area to nibble on (roasted peanuts, seaweed salad, shrimp chips, tofu and thousand year egg, orange slices, grass jelly, and snow fungus dessert, etc.) If you're a fan of Chinese-style cumin & salt seasoning skewers, Meet U BBQ will be to your liking. They do have a non-spicy option when you order. They also use a bit of numbing spice in most of the spicy dishes and there is a cumulative spice effect that happens, even with some of their appetizers. Their appetizer bar probably changes occasionally depending on what they can get. Service was good this time. Scan the table QR code and submit order through the code for your table. Still love the Grilled Scallops, Lamb Skewers and Beef Tongue Skewers. I liked the tofu & thousand year egg appetizer & seaweed. I liked their Grilled Sausage. Grilled Eggplant was good as well, but almost the exact same flavor as the Grilled Scallops. Their grass jelly was too sweet. Restroom was clean. Parking is shared with others in the lot.
